Klimator is a Swedish software company with over 30 years of research background in applied road climatology. The results of the company's research are used today in the winter road maintenance and automotive industries with road weather data with very high precision. We contribute to safer roads and increase the availability of self-driving functions. Klimator has two innovations; the data platform Road Condition Data (RCD) which with high precision can make forecasts of road weather in real time and up to 18 hours in the future, as well as the sensor technology AHEAD which in real time can determine the conditions of the road ahead. We also participate in research projects for other areas of use, such as airports and railways.
