Klinik Kenit

Founded in October 2020, Klinik Kenit is Malaysia's pioneering Child and Family Hub, dedicated to enhancing early childhood development (ECD). As an accredited social enterprise (by SEMy and SEWF), we aim to ensure every child has access to the highest quality of care, fostering an environment where they can achieve their full potential. We recognize the crucial role of supportive environments, informed by Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory, in shaping children's development. At Klinik Kenit, we offer integrated services based on the Nurturing Care Framework (2018) emphasizing five components to help all children achieve their full potential - health, good nutrition, responsive caregiving, safety and protection, and early learning opportunities. Klinik Kenit is also a learning hub and has become a destination for colleges and universities whose students visit for educational purposes to learn more about ECD support. We currently host undergraduate and master's students in attachment programs. we have welcomed teachers from preschools, healthcare professionals, and corporate people seeking to learn ECD and our practices. We integrate research and practice. This real-time research integration allows improvements in our service delivery. This dynamic approach ensures that the latest child development and family care findings are quickly implemented, improving outcomes. Our comprehensive child and family hub has the potential to be a transformative model that can be scaled up to serve communities nationwide.This transformative upscaling can lead to widespread improvements in child development, family support, and community well-being, ultimately contributing to a healthier, more equitable society
