KL Technology Incubators Foundation

KL Technology Incubators Foundation (KLTIF) at KL Deemed to be University has been established with support from Department of Science and Technology Govt. India with the vision of empowering youth through entrepreneurship. KLTIF aims to nurture Innovation and Entrepreneurship culture in Semi-urban and Rural India and provides access to world-class labs, modern equipment, huge mentor & industry network, funding opportunities and state of the art operating facilities. The vision is to emerge as a ‘National Centre for Entrepreneurship’ in India, creating world class start-ups by providing them conducive environment to grow and vision to scale their ventures. KLTIF started operations in the year 2018 and in a short span of time has incubated 20+ Startups from across the country, the start-ups have collectively created more than 100+ jobs. KLTIF at KL University primarily offers 2 programs, the first being EMERGE which is an Incubation Program of 11 months for Early-Stage startups, while the second is a Pre-Incubation program for Ideas to prototype stage support. KLTIF has also partnered the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India to set up Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) program through which we provide financial support to early-Stage-startups. Taking a revolutionary step in promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship at the highest level, KL Deemed to be University has established KL Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The centre takes initiatives in promoting research in MSME which is a sector of national importance, the centre also promotes entrepreneurship in youth, orienting them and motivating them to see entrepreneurship as a career option.
