Korea Maritime & Ocean University (韓國海洋大學校, KMOU) is South Korea’s premier national university dedicated to maritime specialisation. Founded in 1945 as the Chinhae High Merchant Seamans School, KMOU has since evolved into a comprehensive institution spanning maritime science, ocean engineering, maritime humanities and social sciences, and emerging technology convergence.
