As a knowledge resource to the public, Kerman University of Medical Sciences (KMU) intends to be an overarching, transformative, innovative, and accountable public academic body trusted by students, academics, industries, and the private sector. KMU aims to be recognized as a collaborative environment, open to the free exchange of ideas and opinions. It would pursue a broad agenda of research and creative activities to give gifted or talented individuals a chance to flourish. Nurturing talents through instruction and scientific research, and promotion of medical and paramedical sciences aiming at the provision of the country’s required manpower in the pertinent areas; creating research facilities in an attempt to identify unexplored potential fields to increase scientific capability in the issues of health and medicine; developing and improving medical facilities across the province and the society, through medical organizations and institutes and the affiliated health centers.
