Knit Aid

Knit Aid helps refugees through the craft of knitting. We send useful and quality knitted donations collected from all over the world and distribute them to refugees living in camps across Europe and the Middle East. We also run workshops and sell fundraising merchandise like our unique knitting needles and knitting patterns. We started our knitted donations with Calais but are proud to have extended our distribution to Dunkirk, various locations in Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. Knit Aid is run by two volunteers, Shahnaz and Karen, who run the organisation in their spare time. We are currently looking for funding to help us continue the work we do, and help to improve the lives of refugees further.
