Knitting for Thea is an idea, concept and company founded by Elise Wirkehed. During her maternity leave, Elise found a passion for knitting and started knitting clothes for her daughter Thea. But as a beginner, she felt very lost. Finding the right yarn for the right needles and the right pattern, and trying to keep expenses down while still maintaining great quality seemed to be harder than she initially thought. That's when the idea for Knitting for Thea came to her: a way of inspiring more to start knitting and making it as simple as possible. Knitting fo Thea offers boxes—starter packages—that contains everything you need for a chosen project; a pattern, yarn in your color of choice and needles. On our website you'll get to choose from a variety of patterns, from socks and mittens to sweaters and vests, with no need to worry about which yarn to match with your project. We've got you covered!
