KNOM (Materials Science Club) brings together students from the faculty of physics at the Gdańsk University of Technology.
There is an incredible amount of different materials used around the Earth or beyond it and even more of them are yet to be discovered! Our goal is to share knowledge about their potential applications by both theory and practice.
That's why we carry out projects to get the know-how in using various materials and learning how to work in labs way more frequently than on course only.
On the other part, we organize demonstration experiments in nearby schools to get children interested in this topic and on the other side, it's an opportunity for us to learn how to teach others effectively.
We are open to all sort of collaboration and ready to explore the fascinating world of materials!
