Knothouse

Knothouse is a Copenhagen based design studio working primarely with handmade rugs. Our designs explores the characteristics of the materials by looking at the medium in a non conventional way. The pieces demonstrate a preoccupation with techniques and details, a poetic colour palette and subtile designs deriving from aesthetic value and instinct. They are crafted by carefully chosen small-scale highly skilled artisans and a weavers from Nepal using traditional knotting techniques and exclusive natural materials. All our pieces are limited edition only.
