KNOTT Vortex Pvt. Ltd. is a joint-venture company between KNOTT GmBH, Germany and VORTEX ENGINEERING WORKS INDIA PVT. LTD., India with majority KNOTT Shareholding, making it a KNOTT Group Subsidiary. The joint venture aims to bring KNOTT brakes and brake actuation systems designed for off-highway vehicles to our global customers, including those with plants in India. Additionally, with VORTEX competencies and experience in electromagnetic clutches and brakes, it also offers electromagnetic braking solutions for our global electric off-highway and industrial vehicles and machinery OEM and Tier-1 customers. KNOTT VORTEX brake technology includes mechanical, hydraulic and air disc brakes, drum brakes, wet disc brakes and electromagnetic brakes as well as brake actuation components, all tailored to meet high requirements of brake and brake actuation solutions for the off-highway machinery & vehicle as well as industrial automation markets.
