Knowledge Exchange

Knowledge Exchange is a new and unique platform designed to connect people for the purpose of sharing knowledge and improving people's lives and careers. Whether you have a PhD or just life experience, we want your contributions as long as you have knowledge and time to share. As long as you have at least an hour to give and knowledge to share, you are encouraged to be a part of the Knowledge Exchange WHY THE KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE? The Knowledge Exchange is inspired from my personal experience and from many years collaborating with students at university. I was scared and anxious about how fast technology was evolving and it felt like I was being left behind. I was aware of online education resources, but I felt overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Fortunately, I had a great friend who guided me through the jungle of resources and I was able to successfully learn new skill sets that helped me to secure a new job. Along the way I had two epiphanies: * Not everyone has a friend or family member who can help them learn new skill sets. * We need to create a program to make it easier to connect people for the purpose of sharing knowledge. The Knowledge Exchange is founded on the belief that there exists an enormous untapped resource for sharing knowledge. Our belief is that we can build an easy to use platform, with flexibility for Givers to change availability and recognition for their services, that the Givers will come in mass. If you know someone who is willing to 'Give an Hour' or needs to 'Take an Hour' - please tell them there is a place for them at the Knowledge Exchange.
