The 2022 national elections is a window of hope to the future of a country rebuilding itself despite a global pandemic and the failures of the past.
For this reason, we, a non-partisan, and multi-sectoral coalition of individuals, civic, religious, non-governmental, youth and sectoral organizations with a national presence, have agreed to undertake coordinated activities to encourage qualified voters to register and vote in the 2022 elections. While we place particular focus on youth voters, our advocacy also covers older citizens not yet on the list and those whose registration needs to be reactivated, especially those who belong to the marginalized and underprivileged sectors.
We call our group Eleksyon 2022 Koalisyon: Magparehistro at Bumoto Para sa Bukas Natin. We are united in ensuring that all voices be heard in the coming elections and in promoting voting as a moral and civic duty and one of the most accessible ways for citizens to exercise individual and collective power in a democracy.
