Our Bristol-based company is made up of multidisciplinary teams of talented, passionate people, who enjoy the research and collaboration required to create and operate world-class digital products. We are a friendly group of people from all backgrounds and areas, and believe we are stronger as a team than alone. Koan began life in 2004, when its founders met and realised that together they could build a profitable business in the rapidly evolving e-commerce sector. With consistent year-on-year growth, we have been able to expand, both in size and scope. We have now taken the expertise developed through the building and operation of our e-commerce sites, plus the feedback and requests we’ve had from our in-house marketing teams, to produce new marketing SaaS products that solve real problems, while remaining sympathetic to various styles of working. As well as the little luxuries - decent coffee, fresh fruit, Planet Rock on the Sonos - we also have a vibrant working environment that is based on learning, respect and collaboration. We exist to bring about measurable improvements with the software we build, and we do this with a commitment to respecting development, culture and the different ways people work best.
