The ForestEffect Fund (The Fund) provides capital and knowledge to build sustainable value chains to Dutch SME Companies with a business in coffee, cacao, palm oil, nuts or fruits.
The Fund focuses on three areas:
1 Capital: minority stakes with a maximum average investment of € 1,2m in Dutch SME Companies in 5 years; 2. Know-How: experience and (arrange for) expertise to portfolio companies;
3 Pro-active approach: search for opportunities for the Fund and accomplish non-executive board seats, active shareholder involvement and investment planning to create a sustainable investment environment for the investee company.
