KOE fashion show is an annual event held by the Wearable Design graduates of Lahti Institute of Design, LAB University of Applied Sciences. The show has been a starting point for many careers for young designers.
Previous KOE fashion shows have been successful and have received recognition from both social and nationwide media. The collections by graduating students are based on their thesis research and aim to provoke discussion on topics related to the field as well as culturally and socially significant issues.
Notable designers, such as Katri Niskanen, Sami-Jussi Koski and Anni Ruuth have graduated from Lahti Institute of Design’s Fashion Design programme.
KOE25 fashion show will take place in Helsinki on 20.5.2025.
