At this time, the two key components of KIP include:
1) Pro bono consulting projects (co-curricular) - students get to work with real clients for 3 months, on a real-world project with real deliverables, per a statement of work, to gain hands on experience in consulting and /or any industry or function.
2) Kogod Co-ops (for credit) - the first ever co-operative education program at American University and among our competitors in the DC Metro Region, Kogod Co-ops are longer-term paid internships that go for 6, 9 or 12 months and intentionally lead to full-time jobs.
