Kohaku was founded in 2021. The story began with a group of young individuals from diverse backgrounds. Driven by the desire to return to their fundamental aspirations, they planted their roots in Taiwan. Fueled by their vision for the future of agriculture, they delved deeply into nurturing traditional industries. While carrying the weight of cultural heritage, they continually infused new and emerging energy and creativity. By blending local and international perspectives, they facilitated the fusion of information and design. From conceptualization to marketing, from design to development, from production to industry, from heritage to innovation, we adopted a cross-disciplinary integrated approach, bounding the influence of various services, and reframe the value. "Kohaku" refer to "white amber" in Japanese. Amber, a liquid resin and fossilized crystal, encapsulates life from millions of years ago, forming a captivating capsule of time. White represents the whitespace in design – the open freedom that accommodates everything without imposing limits. Talent and creativity flow freely within Kohaku, encompassing budding ideas.
