We are a South African ed-tech business that is teacher-centric in nature. Our content is fully CAPS aligned, covering each of the assessment standards in English and Maths from Grade R to Grade 7. What separates kolab. from other education platforms, is that we have not cherry-picked what we feel to be the most important parts of the curriculum. We have considered its every aspect. To the letter. Our content is comprised of nuggets of theory that offer gentle explanations on why and how to teach an assessment standard. CAPS provides the 'what' for teachers, detailing the list of skills they need to cover over the course of a term and a year. It informs their teaching. Kolab has added two dimensions to the curriculum, offering teachers the 'why' and the 'how', making it more accessible.
