KOLOS FOUNDATION

KOLOS FOUNDATION is a new, non-governmental charitable organization which was created in 2022 during the war and operates under Ukrainian legislation. We operate throughout Ukraine with the head office in Kyiv. In Ukrainian, the word “kolos” means “wheat”. To us wheat represents hope and new life for Ukraine and her people. Our activities include providing legal, psychological, social, and humanitarian assistance to women and children, since they are more vulnerable, and need more support. Our goal is to help these women and children feel safe and have enough resources to grow and improve their social situation. Our values are stability, security and trust in the world, development, dignity and people-centeredness.
