Komeco, part of GICOM Composting Systems, is specialized in processing chicken and cow manure into high-quality pressed composted organic fertilizer pellets and granulate. Komeco uses an in-house designed biological, innovative composting technique, which results in a product that not only improves the soil structure and absorbing capacity, but also increases the long term fertility and preserves the balance of the natural soil system. Komeco turns a so-called waste product into a new product, which returns to the ground again after usage. The product is unique and therefore Komeco is a true soil improver. Komeco is a recognized fertilizer processor (NVWA), certified on behalf of Control Union and works according to HACCP regulations. Production takes place in Dronten, The Netherlands where the company was founded back in 1960. From there, the products are shipped to approximately 35 countries worldwide. Fertisol Organic Fertilizer Pellets is Komeco’s own brand. Fertisol Organic Fertilizer Pellets are suited for all lawns, gardens, borders, bulbs and tuber plants, vegetable gardens, roses, plot plants and fruit trees.
