Konstmuseet i Norr – Norrbottens länskonstmuseum Konstmuseet i Norrs uppdrag är att med Barentsregionen som geografisk utgångspunkt för det konstnärliga innehållet stimulera kreativitet och fritt tänkande, skapa debatt och göra konsten till en angelägen röst i det offentliga och demokratiska samtalet. Som Norrbottens länskonstmuseum bedriver konstmuseet förutom verksamheten i Kiruna även en länsövergripande utställnings- och projektverksamhet med syfte att tillgängliggöra och samtala om konst i länets 14 kommuner. _ Konstmuseet i Norr – Norrbotten’s County Art Museum With the Barents Region as a geographic point of departure, Konstmuseet i Norr’s mission is to stimulate creativity and freedom of thought, drive debate and to give art an influential voice within public discourse. Alongside having an operational base in Kiruna, Konstmuseet i Norr organises and conducts county-wide exhibitions and projects, with the aim to make art and the conversations surrounding it accessible in Norrbotten County’s 14 municipalities.
