Kooy Fish (Jako) was founded almost hundred years ago by Jan Kooy . The company is located in Huizen, in former times one of the most important fishing villages on the Zuiderzee. Nowadays the company delivers a wide variety of sustainable fresh and frozen sea products. Pure quality. The fish is caught in the Atlantic or North Sea and purchased at Dutch fish auctions. After landing on one of these auctions, the fresh fish is treated with the greatest care and processed immediately in an own production facility, which makes international shipments possible within 24 hours. Kooy Fish also delivers a wide range of frozen fish products including its own Jako-branded (dover) sole and plaice. These fish are caught in the North Sea and purchased and produced in-house.
