The majority, minority-owned law firm of Korde & Associates, P.C. was established in 1989 by Margaret Korde. In 2002, Sanjit Korde, Margaret’s son, became the majority owner of the Firm. In 2021, Julie Ranieri was promoted to Managing Partner of the Firm. Korde & Associates is a vibrant and diverse mix of professionals with a solid base of default industry and management experience. Korde's headquarters in Lowell, Massachusetts is centrally located with easy access to Boston and the other metropolitan areas in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. In 2018, the Firm opened a second location in New London, Connecticut. In 2019, the Firm merged with Shapiro & Morley - adding the state of Maine to the Firm’s footprint. In 2023 the firm expanded its coverage area and practice to include Vermont with an office in Waitsville. Korde specializes in the representation of institutional lenders and has extensive experience in handling foreclosures, secured party representation in the bankruptcy forum, resolution of title issues, post-foreclosure evictions, and replevins.
