KORE Group started off operating in the contract catering market, producing and supplying meals for Sky Gourmet and the state hospitals in Malta. Throughout the years, the Group ventured into health and social care services, with the key objective of supplying healthcare workers to public hospitals and clinics, as well as providing home care and support services. The Group’s service offering was eventually expanded to include domiciliary care for the elderly, setting up and managing numerous homes for the elderly across Malta and Gozo. Today, Kore Group continues to be the leader in producing and supplying more than 9,000 meals per day to hospitals and nursing homes, and the leader in producing and supplying meals and snacks to the local aviation industry. It also operates the largest private healthcare service in Malta. In 2023, the Group will be opening doors to two educational institutions, the KORE Training Centre in Dubai and the Kore Academy in Malta, providing training in relation to health and social care. This will further strengthen the quality of services provided by the Group as we ensure that our recruited staff receive adequate and tailored training. The Group today employs over 3,800 employees across its diverse operations. We have achieved significant growth in the last years in Malta and we are now leaders in the respective markets. Our vision and strategy are now therefore based on expanding internationally, across different sectors. The Group has already established its presence in the UAE and in addition to setting up an office, has obtained a licence to set up a training centre. We are also in advanced discussions in relation to other business ventures in the UAE in different sectors, including catering, importation and exportation, recruitment and in the development of property in the area.
