KORUS

KORUS is the only Korean academic society (Undergraduate and postgraduate) at George Washington University focusing on politics, international affairs, and economics. ‘KORUS’ is a compound word of ‘KOR’ from KOREA and ‘US’ from the US. We are a student organization that acts as a bridge between Korea and the United States. We are creating an atmosphere where Koreans can freely express their opinions and discuss the direction and results of their research, thereby enabling everyone to grow together. Opportunities • Networking with guest speakers, including professors, government officials in South Korea and the US, entrepreneurs, and various professionals in politics, international affairs, and economics. • Close-door roundtables and social events with professionals in the DMV area. • Various volunteer opportunities and academic events. Broad Activities • Participation in academic events. • Weekly discussions and seminars on specific topics. • Inviting guest speakers (PODCAST, ROUNDTABLE).
