The heritage of Indian textiles is so rich and vast, one would need a whole lifetime to acquaint oneself with all its forms. We decided to dedicate our lives to bring out these gems of Indian heritage and present it to the world. This became our inspiration to create Kosa. But this wasn’t enough; to revive and reinvent these textiles we had to do more. We took our baby steps, in this direction, by forming a government acknowledged weaver’s co-operative society in Chhattisgarh. The society consists traditional weavers families who are well-versed with the oldest weaving techniques and classic motifs and patterns used in indian saris. Each sari is handwoven with the finest silk and is one of a kind. Owning a Kosa saree gives you the satisfaction of acquiring a singular exquisite piece of Indian heritage.
