KOU STORM İnsansız Hava Aracı Takımı olarak, 2021 yılında Kocaeli Üniversitesi Makine Mühendisliği Kulübü bünyesinde kurulduk. 2022 yılında Teknofest'in sabit kanat kategorisine katıldık.
2023 yılında ise, serbest görev kategorisinde nesne ve konum algılama üzerine çalışmalarımızı yoğunlaştırarak, teknoloji geliştirme ve yenilikçilik alanında önemli adımlar attık. Bu süreçte edindiğimiz bilgi ve tecrübeleri daha ileriye taşımak amacıyla 2024 senesinde Amerika’da düzenlenen SUAS (Student Unmanned Aerial Systems) yarışmasına katıldık.
Bu prestijli uluslararası yarışmada, ülkemizi en iyi şekilde temsil ederek, yeteneklerimizi ve potansiyelimizi kanıtlama şansı yakaladık. KOU STORM olarak, hedeflerimizi daima daha ileriye taşımaya ve ülkemizi gururla temsil etmeye devam edeceğiz.
As KOU STORM Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Team, we were established in 2021 under the Kocaeli University Mechanical Engineering Club. In 2022, we participated in Teknofest's fixed-wing category. In
2023, we focused on object and location detection in the free mission category, making significant strides in technology development and innovation. To further advance the knowledge and experience we gained during this process, we participated in the SUAS (Student Unmanned Aerial Systems) competition held in the United States in 2024.
In this prestigious international competition, we had the opportunity to represent our country in the best possible way, showcasing our skills and potential. As KOU STORM, we will continue to push our goals forward and proudly represent our country
