We have been working with the government to provide sector-wise guidance to the government on the work on the Kaushika River, the main water source in the North of Coimbatore, as well as on several water bodies and three locations in the South of Coimbatore with number of initiatives and fieldwork. Through CSR funds, we are carrying out renovation and greening work, as well as preparation of formal project reports for water-dependent projects that the government is likely to implement.
In addition, we continue to raise awareness among the general public, school and college students about watersheds, organise events, and engage college students in field work on watersheds and greenery, as well as groups of volunteers for each watershed. These groups include professionals, government and private sector employees, school and college students, retired officers, and a diverse population of volunteers. We have compiled the work to be done further by weeding in the respective waters.
