Kpler Ventures (KV) is the venture capital arm of the founders of Kpler. In 2014, François Cazor and Jean Maynier founded Kpler with a vision to make commodity trading transparent, more efficient and sustainable. The early success of Kpler’s first product initiated a cycle of sustained innovation and fast growth. Now with hundreds of employees, global coverage of the world’s commodities markets and an ever-expanding product suite, Kpler serves thousands of users and is an uncontested leader in the data & analytics field. Kpler Ventures (KV) was created with the ambition to back entrepreneurs having the vision and persistence to make a positive impact on the world around them. Relying on strong entrepreneurial experience as well as the capital, KV looks to empower businesses to achieve sustainable growth through the early years. KV’s first investment was Spark Commodities (Spark) in 2019, a Singapore-based joint venture with EEX (part of the Deutsche Börse Group) focused on redefining how commodity prices are understood.
