KREN mission is: Empowering the digital transformation in the research and educational community, fostering innovation and developing an advanced infrastructure and services. KREN objectives are:  Development of an advanced information and communication infrastructure for the academic and research community, including a fast and safe network, diverse contents and services;  Improvement of higher education and science as well as work and lives of students, associates, lecturers and scientists by applying the information and communication technology;  Information and communication technology implementation, and especially providing support to knowledge dissemination and information exchange;  Establishment of a research & education community.
