HISTORY
Carlo Granconato in 1959, after having learned the art of typographer and paper convertor, decided to become an entrepreneur starting the die-cutter factory business to manufacture his own rules for cutting, creasing and perforating as well as the brass matrix.
So in 1974 Carlo and his son Massimo concentrated their energies on the study and production of self-locating cresing matrix, thanks to which the company saw rapid growth both on the national and international markets, still unexplored at the time.
CUSTOMER-ORIENTED INNOVATION
The legacy left by the first founder Carlo to his son Massimo and consequently to the entire KRIS group is undoubtedly the propensity in inventing new concepts, exactly like when, in the early 70s, they created a totally original and more performing product to replace the heavy brass creasing matrix, conceiving the first polyester-based creasing in the world named GROOVE, equipped with a perfectly centered positioner.
This product achieved immediate success on international markets.
The company's aptitude for innovation is astounding.
In Italy, KRIS immediately established itself as the reference, reaching all of Europe and Russia. By virtue of this continuous evolution, KRIS company has developed new materials such as N.E.K. and later ISOMAT.
Step by step, the company has grown internally in terms of human resources, expanding its workforce with some new figures, one of all @Lorenzo Alloisio who, with the support of the KRIS team, has managed to expand its customer base by reaching new areas of the world such as Asia, Arabia and America.
