Rugs Kristiina Lassus

Founded in 2003 by designer and interior architect Kristiina Lassus, the studio is focusing on product design and interior design as well as design management. Over 20 years Kristiina Lassus Studio has collaborated with many international brands, designers and architects in the area of lifestyle, interior and product development. In the same studio, located in the heart of Milan, Lassus is also running her showroom and head office for the brand Rugs Kristiina Lassus. The awarded rug collection consists of high-end design rugs that have elegance and discreet personality and are created to suit different style environments across cultures. Every rug is a unique piece, hand-knotted in Nepal by skilful Tibetan artisans and made to order. The production is ethically and ecologically sustainable (GoodWeave certification). The collection is distributed in 15 countries. Kristiina Lassus has won international awards such as two Red Dot Awards and a Green Good Award. She has been chair of several design juries including IF Design Award, Red Dot Award, Core Design Award and Fennia Prize.
