Kronberg Academy Foundation

Kronberg Academy is a training institution and place of inspiration for musicians of all generations. It brings exceptionally gifted young violinists, violists and cellists together with leading contemporary artists who pass on their experience, ideas and values and help the young people to mature as artists. In this way it creates a place where musical values are lived out, musical ideas are sparked, a new generation of musical pioneers comes into being and we can experience the full force and beauty classical music at close quarters. The threefold aim of the Kronberg Academy Foundation is to provide support for up-and-coming professional musicians, to create a place for musical stimuli in Kronberg and to give people opportunities to experience the wonder of classical music. The Kronberg Academy Study Programmes provide all-round musical training for exceptionally gifted young violinists, violists and cellists. The Academy’s festivals, masterclasses and many other public events give young musicians and music lovers from all over the world access to inspiring musical gatherings of the highest artistic standard. The Kronberg Academy Foundation, a non-profit organisation, was founded in 2004 by committed music lovers with the aim of providing long-term support for the objectives of Kronberg Academy, a non-profit association that was founded in 1993. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees enjoys the support of an Artistic Council that comprises key figures from the international music scene.
