The founding team of KRUU is Jochen, Oli and Philipp. Our aim is to make premium event planning a simple process for everyone and to price it in an affordable way for all. Our vision is that it will soon be possible for everyone to host a premium event without forking out too much money. In pursuit of our aims, we are always looking at new suggestions for providing services in innovative ways that benefit our clients. Our founders' mission is to become Europe's leading brand for event services.
KRUU was originally started in Germany and named as a phonetic translation of the English word 'crew'. The entrepreneurial team that began the business identified a gap in the market for photobooths that could be supplied to the wedding reception market and the business was born. After a market test in this sector, the business rapidly developed into other areas from 2016 onwards. One of the first steps in the development of KRUU came about when we noticed that many couples who were planning their weddings wanted more than just photobooths for their reception. Some were seeking the same high standards of professionalism and service for their wedding photography and entertainment, such as DJs. Soon, two new services were added to KRUU's roster. Over time, further service offerings were added to the mix and the business began to operate all over Europe.
