The role of Kansas State Council of SHRM is to provide a forum for local chapters to discuss common issues, problems, concerns and to share ideas and successes. The State Council serves as the liaison between the chapters and SHRM National while promoting the benefits of SHRM.
Through visits to chapters, the State Council’s responsibility is to assess needs, adopt programs, and provide information to promote the success of local chapters. The State Council also coordinates state and national legislative initiatives specifically as they relate to the human resource profession.
