About Kennesaw State University - School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development
The School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development at Kennesaw State University (KSU) offers a Master's degree in Conflict Management (MSCM), an Online Graduate Certificate in Applied Peacebuilding, and a Ph.D. in International Conflict Management (INCM). We also offer Alternative Dispute Resolution services and workshops through which we assist our clients in managing and transforming conflict. In 2016, these entities of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding, and Development were united to create a School which embraces the view that peace must be pursued deliberately and that economic development is a necessary part of any well-developed intervention to minimize vulnerability and prevent dependency. Ph.D. in International Conflict Management The key global competencies of the broad interdisciplinary training from social science and humanitarian disciplines are: 1. Intercultural Dynamics of Global Conflict 2. Economic Conflict Analysis 3. International Relations 4. Conflict Management Theory Master of Science in Conflict Management Attracting students and professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds for environments ranging from corporate boardrooms to international negotiations and family meditations. Key competencies include: Negotiation Mediation Organizational Change Peacebuilding Center for Conflict Management Learn new skills, build your resume, and earn Continuing Education Units by participating in one of the many workshops offered throughout the year. Specializing in: 1. Integrating Conflict Management in the Workplace 2. Tolerance and Understanding 3. Communication Skills 4.
