K-Technologies, Inc. ("K-Tech") is a specialized chemical technology development firm that offers unique process technology and development capabilities for the minerals and chemicals industries. In particular, K-Tech has focused on various separation processes involving continuous ion exchange ("CIX"), continuous ion chromatography ("CIC") and related advanced separation methodologies as they apply to a variety of chemical and environmental applications.

K-Tech currently holds 6 US patents and intends to pursue patent applications for several of its other technologies. The following are a few examples of K-Tech's unique process technology applications developed through bench, pilot plant, and/or commercial experience:
• Uranium recovery from phosphoric acid with CIX.
• Impurity removal (e.g. iron, aluminum, magnesium, cadmium) from phosphoric acid using CIX or other extraction techniques.
• Recovery of rare earths and metals such as vanadium and cadmium from wet process phosphoric acid using CIX and CIC techniques.
• Fluoride recovery from fluorosilicic acid, phosphogypsum pond water, or cooling water, using CIX techniques and subsequent conversion of recovered silicofluoride solutions into industrial fluorides and silica products.
• Production of potassium salts via CIX processes including potassium sulfate, potassium phosphates, potassium carbonate, and potassium nitrate.
• Recovery, separation, and purification of rare earths, including Y and Sc, from pregnant leach solutions of dissolved rare earth ores using CIX/CIC techniques.
