Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) at Leeds drives cutting-edge innovation and transformative business growth by linking forward thinking businesses with one of the UK’s world class knowledge bases to collaborate and deliver high impact innovation projects led by leading academics from the University of Leeds. The KTP model is a three-way Partnership between a business or organisation (commercial, not for profit and some public sector), an academic team and a skilled graduate or postgraduate known as a KTP Associate. KTPs projects are intended to bring new capabilities to a business or organisation to solve strategic, often complex challenges that are unique to the business. The University of Leeds has extensive experience of delivering a high quality KTPs and has a diverse portfolio of multi- and inter-disciplinary projects spanning a wide range industrial sectors.
