KTS-INTEK is a manufacturer of EMBEE IoT communication platform, a local secure radio network IEEE 802.15.4 of with a Neighborhood Area Network (NAN) profile in which up to 4,000 units of different devices with different data transfer protocols per Data Aggregator Unit (DAU) can communicate. Such devices can be LED street lights, electricity meters from various manufacturers, line and transformer substation monitoring sensors, charging stations for electric vehicles, solar stations (inverters), indoor communication relays for switching off loads and batteries, other IoT devices. Such devices must be equipped with built-in or external Embee microradio modems manufactured by our company. Embee IoT platform brings together IoT devices from different manufacturers that have different communication protocols for information exchange and device control. DAU provides autonomous communication between IoT devices without an Internet connection, collects, processes and stores information. If necessary, it can perform analytical calculations according to specified algorithms. DAU can also transmit commands in real time to control devices (or groups of them) equipped with controllers (for example, boiler relays will be switched off in 2-3 seconds or the load will be changed in the outdoor lighting system or on chargers). Embee IoT intranet works on the FOG computing model. Communication between Cloud or remote operator and DAU can be organized through different channels like Ethernet, LTE450, GSM 2G/3G/4G/5G. Thus, Embee IoT is a complete combination of multiprotocol IoT devices that can be easily grouped into clusters to create local dispatching/redispatching zones in a distribution system or microgrids connected to that system. Embee IoT platform is able to perform monitoring or device control tasks according to scripts and creating various services for users and DSO.
