About Us The Korean U.K. Academic Society (KUAS) is a vibrant and multidisciplinary network of over 200 scholars and professionals based across the United Kingdom. Officially launched in September 2024, KUAS serves as a key platform for fostering intellectual exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration among academia, industry, and the public in the U.K. and Korea. Our Mission To enhance mutual understanding between Korea and the U.K. through diverse academic interactions while expanding the societal impact of scholarship. KUAS seeks to grow as an inclusive community that bridges disciplines, institutions, and industries, contributing to knowledge and cultural exchange. Goals and Objectives Short-Term Goals “Interactive Research and Public Engagement” ▪ Establish accessible platforms for interdisciplinary exchanges that allow both students and the public to engage with academic discussions. ▪ Facilitate forums and workshops to ensure academic knowledge is applied to address societal challenges. ▪ Create opportunities to broaden the accessibility of research and its practical applications.
