kubé is a Black woman-owned, artisanal, vegan, full-fat coconut ice cream womanfacturer and social enterprise in Oakland, California. Kai Nortey, CEO/ Co-Founder, is a visionary and socially conscious, Black woman, business leader who is tenaciously leading the next inclusive and full-circle regenerative economy with vegan ice cream womanfacturing. Kai enthusiastically says,” lay off the boob of the mama cow yall, and get on the coconut; it will protect your life and hers!” The purpose of kubé is to inspire, awaken, and transform people with restorative and regenerative food systems, without chemicals.
kubé is producing the next generation of the BEST TASTING, full-fat coconut ice cream, without synthetic chemicals (No Sodium Metabisfulte). We produce our own full-fat coconut cream, from mature coconuts. This means we crack, shred and cold-press mature organic coconuts, with patented coconut equipment. We only use clean, fresh, organic, plant-based ingredients such as fruit, seeds, roots, espresso, chocolate, and citrus essential oils to make the most fresh and vibrant flavors in a dense, creamy texture.
kubé exists to restore life, health, joy, dignity, and equity back to people, animals, and the soil. Our coconut byproducts become a soil resource for urban farms(e.g. PlantingJustice.org), to make nutrient-dense regenerative soil, to grow organic vegetables.
