The family winemaking tradition started in 1893 with Mr. David Molina, who made wine, singani, and ratafia, but started to flourish in 1930, thanks to Mr. Franz Kuhlmann. His vision, passion, and commitment lead him to found Kuhlmann & Cia. Ltda in a farm called Vivicha, in the Camargo area.
In an artisanal way, he began to make port wine, ratafía, and a singani that was very well received in La Paz, Oruro, Potosí, and mining centers. He marketed the singani under an attractive French cognac label, with three stars appearing in the design as an indicator of branding.
Today, this wonderful Heritage is in hands of the family's 4th generation, which honors the foundational values of ART, CIENCE, AND TECHNOLOGY to continue growing and perfecting the manufacturing and commercialization of premium Wines and spirits.
