Kulika Uganda

Kulika Uganda is an Indigenous NGO having been established in 1981 in the UK as a grant-making charitable trust specialising in the provision of educational scholarships for East African students. More recently Kulika has developed its own operational programmes in Uganda targeting small holder subsistence farmers and students majority of whom can be generally categorized as poor small holder subsistence farmers and students operating in different contexts facing different risks .Most agricultural related projects target female farmers through women groups.The scholarship programme supports 100+ students each year, mainly in Uganda and a new Sustainable Agriculture Training Programme has been established - providing training to farmers who act as trainers in their own communities.
