KuliVersity is a free digital Kulintang workshop available to students of all ages who want to learn how to play Kulintang music, its rich traditions, and vibrant culture. Founded by Pantayo, a queer Filipinx Kulintang music ensemble based in Tkaronto, KuliVersity began as a weekly self-directed sharing and learning space.
Over time, it evolved into an in-person, peer-led music and leadership workshop.
KuliVersity: kulintang on demand for all is a digital platform where anyone can learn how to play Kulintang music. KuliVersity offers 3 Kulintang music lessons, including a Kulintang 101 class where students can learn the traditions and culture of Kulintang.
