Sri Kumaran Children’s Home -CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), popularly called Kumarans, is committed to excellence. The CBSE wing of the institution was established in 1995 under the stewardship of Mrs. Meenakshi Balakrishnan. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (www.cbse.nic.in) which functions under the overall supervision and control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institution has been imparting quality education by developing young children into responsible citizens. All-round development, discipline and leadership are the high points of Kumarans culture. The school with more than 50 years in the education field has the continued support and involvement of parents in the south of Bangalore. The school has classes from I to XII, with a student strength of 2500 and faculty strength of 190. Holistic learning is greatly emphasized upon.
