Cacao is a fruit. A super fruit. But for centuries, the delightful fruit juice from the cacao fruit has been wasted. The industry is solely interested in the beans to make chocolate, and for us this doesn't make any sense at all. Firstly, it's wasteful to not use the whole fruit. Secondly, you're throwing away farmers' income. Because by using this exotic super fruit in our products, cocoa farmers are now earning extra income. Kumasi has its own branded products, but also supplies to food and beverage partners that want to use cacao fruit juice as well. Because the more juice is used, the more cacao farmers earn extra income.
