Kumera Marine AS was established when reputable manufacturers in the maritime industry, Helseth (controllable pitch propellers) and Kumera (propulsion- and front-end gears) merged in 2022. Both companies bundling their expertise, designing and building conventional-, hybrid and fully electric propulsion solutions for various vessel segments. Kumera Marine is a member of the Kumera Corporation, a leading supplier of industrial and marine mechanical power transmissions and services since 1945. As part of a global company, we offer corporate units in Finland, Norway, Austria, Germany and China, with worldwide 24/7 service and support by certified partners and agents across the globe. Our in-house capabilities include foundries, steel fabrication plants, several specialist gear-cutting and case-hardening facilities, as well as R&D centres in Finland, Austria, and Norway. Our vision is to be the driving force in marine propulsion- and power transmissions for the global marine and offshore industries, offering standard and tailor-made, high quality solutions that fulfil our customers’ needs and are always in line with market requirements.
