Kumpf, Charsley & Hansen LLC was established in 2006. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Kumpf, Mr. Charsley and Mr. Hansen each worked in a number of private and in-house capacities.
Most recently, Mr. Kumpf served as corporate counsel for Nutraceutical Corporation, a publicly-held corporation based in Park City, Utah. Before that, he held the position of General Counsel at Natural Balance, Inc., a privately-held company based in Castle Rock, Colorado. He has more than 15 years of experience both in private practice and in-house positions, providing him a wealth of experience and perspective.
Mr. Charsley most recently worked as director of legal services for the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. where he worked with Affiliate organizations in 19 different countries and played a significant role in establishing new Affiliate organizations in Austria, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan. His responsibilities included general corporate legal work and management of an international trademark portfolio with over 80 registrations in 30 different countries. Mr. Charsley joined Kumpf, Charsley and Hansen LLC., as a partner in May of 2007 where he does wills and estates, general civil and commercial litigation, family law, employment litigation, and criminal defenses.
Prior to joining Kumpf, Charsley & Hansen as one of its founding partners, Mr. Hansen worked as in-house counsel for a large Colorado home building and land development company for 9 years. In 2009, he was elected President of the Colorado Association of Home Builders and he is a member of several professional and industry groups dealing with construction industry and real estate development issues. He practice is concentrated in the areas of builder and contractor representation.
