We started KUORI in 2022. We are an innovative Swiss Cleantech company committed to transitioning to a post-oil economy by transforming consumer plastics through a circular economy approach.
As a B2B enterprise, we provide cutting-edge and eco-friendly granules, seamlessly fitting into existing manufacturing processes of diverse sectors including fashion, outdoor equipment, and tools. Overall, our material has a PCF (Product Carbon Footprint) potentially 60 % lower compared to conventional plastics.
We leverage food byproducts - such as olive pits and walnut shells - to produce novel bio-based, biodegradable, and elastic materials that have a patent pending. Our materials only produce biodegradable microplastics, directly addressing a critical environmental concern.
Furthermore, they safely break down in industrial composting places, meeting EN 13432 standards, which helps reduce our environmental impact and makes the earth cooler and oceans cleaner.
KUORI has been recognized for our commitment to sustainability, receiving support from the European Union's Horizon program and winning the Renewable Material of the Year Award in 2023.
