Kurtarra Cape (KCU) a fully incorporated 50/50 joint venture was established in 2015 to provide innovative solutions to the resources industry whilst engaging with Indigenous and Traditional Owners across Western Australia.

KCU currently has over a 40 person workforce with 17% aboriginal engagement participation across its operations.

KCU is committed to Indigenous engagement, working with Traditional Owner groups to offer employment, guidance and providing opportunities through training and development, procurement and subcontracting.
Kurtarra provides aboriginal recruitment and labour services as well as training, mentoring, coaching and pastoral care for Aboriginal employees. In addition Kurtarra manages community interface and engagement will local Traditional Owner groups on behalf of KCU.
Cape provides operational capability, construction expertise, project management systems, specialised plant & equipment and financial security to KCU.
